2 time Brit award winner Sensation Becky Hill sings and dances the night away at Haydock racecourse with the fans dancing and screaming for more!
Opening up for Becky tonight is rising star Mia Kirkland who is over the moon to be supporting Becky Hill tonight. Despite a short set Mia nailed her performance and has made a load of new fans which some did actually get some selfies after her set.

With her music style focusing on drum and bass which she sings about events going on with her life which fans can relate to. Opening up with “Enemies” and then “Leave it all behind” which is Mia’s first ever single. With “Right Now” following this which is one of her newish singles which she worked with Skepsis.
For the last part of this short set features a load of brand new singles and one is coming out next week ( August 15th) called “lonestar” followed by a brand new unheard single ” indescribable” Which Mia talks about when trying to think of new ideas for songs and you just hit a wall and can’t think of anything emotional wise. Mia said at the time she wasn’t sad nor happy and there was nothing major and that’s when the producer said write about that and so she did! Mia also did a big shout out to her best friend forever Emma!
” i love myself” Is up next another new upcoming single and then to end of the show is her latest single “I just called your ex” Which Mia mum loves as she hated Mia’s ex and very happy that they split! which the crowd cheered and danced along!

It’s time for Becky Hill to arrive and of course with class and style, A huge stage two floors , an amazing lighting set up, a micro orchestra , drums and a few back up singers along with the heavy drum and bass backing track , no one was truly prepared for the next hour plus of non stop dancing and singing! I mean to top of the busy day with horse races the crowd were definitely ready with booze in one hand and grabbing your mates with the other hand as you hang on for dear life on this musical adventure!
The setlist has been rammed full of iconic bangers , some new gems and a lot of floor fillers there was so much positive engagement from the crowd as the night went on. Early in the set playing “crazy what love can do, Back and forth & Gecko” Which the crowd pretty much sings along word for word throughout the whole set. Becky spices up the set with something different, for one lucky fan called Evie gets invited up on stage to sing “Last time” Not only that , since it’s Evie’s 15th birthday Becky gets the band to perform and sing happy birthday with the crowd. Evie will never forget this, it’ll probably be her best birthday present ever!

After that more gems with “Outside of love, Afterglow & disconnect” It’s a drum and bass fever dream! For Afterglow Becky talks about what a wild journey it’s been these past 11 years. since the voice , the singing contest she was in and almost made it to the semi finals. Afterglow was her first major single back in october 2013 which collaborated with Wilkinson. Back then she was just a kid in the middle of nowhere who just loved drum and bass. This also explains why her singing just goes so smoothly with D&B!
Can it get better, yes it can as the iconic intro to one of many crowd favorites ” my heart goes” with “le da da de da” as Becky screams louder which of course they obey!. Coming to the end of the show with just a few songs left Becky asks the crowd to put their phones away and to just soak in the atmosphere as the majority of fans have been lighting up recording pretty much the whole show so sometimes it’s just good to enjoy the show and just take in what’s going on and as “remember” is the last one to end the show. This gig will be one to remember for years to come to many fans here today!
